SIXT goes Finland

An incentive trip for champion

In keeping with the motto "SIXT goes Finland – back to nature –" the 12 best local sales employees were rewarded with a 5-day incentive trip to Helsinki and Lapland: A cooking event in the trendy Nokka restaurant and a sightseeing tour to the hotspots of the city marked the beginning. This was followed by a surge of pure adrenalin in the forests of Saariselkä. With plenty of hp adventure, the Action Park, right in the heart of the Lappish winter wonderland, provided the setting for a unique racing atmosphere and motivating team spirit. Topping it all off: Spectacular SIXT-fireworks – for true champions.

Hongkong meets Berlin

The Berlin reunion of the best salespeople in the CLUB DER BESTEN offered guests a unique, off-beat autumn weekend in the capital. The exclusive CDB workshop and the dinner in the nostalgic atmosphere of the unique Mirror Hall at Clärchen's Ballhaus provided an ideal platform for exchanging notes, impressions and experiences. The two-day programme dazzled guests with its exclusive atmosphere, which we took care of by providing such details as a personal shuttle service using the new Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake and an overnight stay in the Grand Hyatt hotel. An exciting cultural programme was also built into the weekend visit. Over a pre-dinner cocktail, art collector Christian Boros gave our guests an exclusive viewing of his private collection, housed in what is now known as the Boros Bunker. Later an adept and contemporary witness of Berlin's unique scene gave participants a personal tour of Kreuzberg and Berlin's happeningest hotspots.

Sardinia

Yet again this year Samsung called for participation in its "Bestseller" sales competition in the category of smartphones and tablets. Apart from various valuable gifts, the best salespersons were awarded a trip to Sardinia. MARKENREISE were in charge of the design and implementation of the competition, including setting up the website and steering the whole project, as well as looking after the lucky travellers during their stay in Sardinia. Sardinia provided the winners a multi-faceted and adventurous travel schedule, including sunny weather, cavern adventures, sea cliff climbing and the typical local cuisine.

MARKENRISE received its first commissioned for the design, planning and execution of the Audi Team Cup in 2011. We put together an active and highly motivating conceptual design for the incentive trip that took place in June 2012. Culture and canyons, wind and waves – over four days a total of 60 guests experienced the most varied possible facets of the Turkish Riviera. We would like to express our thanks to our new customer, Audi, for having entrusted these challenging tasks to us.

Hongkong

Under the slogan "Under the sign of the dragon", this sales competition packed Mercedes' best van and private car salespeople off to Hong Kong. An exotic mix of experiences awaited a total of 80 visitors to the vibrant city, giving them the opportunity to dive down deep into its unique cultural life. Participants boarded their return flight full of inspiration provided by the multiple facets and the feeling of rupture with the past that is so much part of today's China.

Canada

TRAVEL BRAND was charged with the design and supervision of the sales competition Samsung bestseller. Served as the basis of competition, the informative website, whose dynamic rankings ensured a high activation of the seller.
The regionally determined winners besides attractive prizes be awarded a unique experience: Canada, the goal of the trip. Over four days, the 18 lucky winners to experience fascinating nature, diverse urban and action-packed activities.
A four-day pure Canada experience: An incentive visit to Montreal and surroundings was the prize awarded to 18 lucky winners of the Samsung Bestseller 2011 sales competition. The trip included astounding natural beauty and multi-facetted urban flair. It included dynamic group activities packed with action and spectacle. Whether it was exploration of multicultural Montreal by bicycle, experiencing the passion of live sport during the opening game of the season of Montreal's professional ice hockey team or action-packed Rabaska canoe and quad tours, Samsung's best were right there in the thick of it. Delicious culinary experiences enjoyed in the wilderness ideally rounded off the authentic team experiences lived by the participants – only the best for the best!

… and to  prove it has won 1st place in the J.D. Power customer satisfaction awards. And since customers are made happy by committed employees, Volvo's E.R.B. Auto Centre in Hanover has paid tribute to its staff in a very special way. From 1 to 3 October 2011, 51 employees of the Volvo dealer were given the chance to take part in an top-class sailing event. Heiligenhafen was chosen as the starting point. On arriving in Orth and Neustadt, they took part in four regattas, two sundowners and, of course, two boat parties: You couldn't have a more impressive or memorable thank you for their employees.

Graz | Peak Performers

Mercedes-Benz'  24 most successful new car salespeople were invited on an alpine incentive trip to Graz. The G-Class slogan "Peak Performers – No Ifs or Buts" was made the motto of the two day trip. Tough going experiences and consistent brand dialog were kept in the foreground during the whole trip. After a high speed panoramic tour through the Alps, which showcased the drivability of the G-Class, the trip continued on the following day with a visit to the "Magna-Steyr" car manufacturing centre, an event that included the motorised conquest of the Graz's local mountain, the Schöckl. Starting from the set communication goals – market fascination and employee motivation – MARKENRISE designed this incentive trip to Graz as well as taking control of it’s realisation on-site in Austria. Feedback from participants confirms that the project achieved both it’s goals – and thus that the concept worked: "It was an unforgettable experience; it will also provide motivation for the final straight before year’s end."

Quiz trip Rome

The winner and his partner arrived on Friday midday at Rome and was taken directly to the romantic boutique hotel Locarno in the centre of the city. Over a welcoming cocktail, the guests took in the view over the famous Piazza del Popolo, which is located not far from the hotel. In the evening they were off to the exclusive L'Olimpio restaurant. Here the couple experienced a marvellous Italian evening and, over the exquisite dishes they enjoyed, inhaled the breathtaking view over the eternal city. On the second evening the Imàgo restaurant in the famous Hassler luxury hotel was the culinary host for the winner. Located directly at the Spanish steps, this gourmet temple boasts a Michelin star and seduces its guests with spectacular views over the city and its unique re-interpretations of regional Italian cuisine by master chef Francesco Apreda.

Ultimate challange Lapland

Rally in the snow! All 69 winners of the Mercedes-Benz CLUB DER BESTEN competition for sales staff relished this year's Ultimate Challenge trip to Swedish Lapland. This year for the first time, the CLUB DER BESTEN competition invited entries not just from the car sales team but also from light transport salespeople. The winners lived the thrill of action-packed driving activities on the grounds of the AMG Driving Academy. Apart from the unfettered fun they had while driving, they also gained an insight into the traditions of the Laps, as well as relaxing in the midst of the white wilderness in great company in a traditional tent, and over cocktails in the Snow Bar. MARKENREISE developed the concept in cooperation with AMG, designed the communication concept and ensured the seamless running of the exhilarating programme.

Samsung Wave INCENTIVE
Mauritius

On the wave of success

“Heaven was copied after Mauritius” Mark Twain wrote. In Mauritius curious volcanic mountaintops tower over white shimmering beaches and turquoise blue lagoons – Mauritius is picturesque. This paradise was the setting for the Samsung Incentive which on the occasion of the Samsung Wave competition was made the main prize. In three days the 22 winners conquered the island: during a self-drive rally they discovered the Mauritian culture, took part in a mini regatta with traditional fishing boats and while canyoning the participants experienced an exciting jungle adventure. Having dinner in a hunting lodge and in an elegant chateau the winners enjoyed culinary highlights. The journey ended with pure relaxation in an amazing 5-star hotel. Besides developing and supporting the entire sales competition during the preliminary stages, MARKENREISE designed the travel and communication concept and took over the organisation and the realisation as well as the personal support on site.

Berlin

Starting whistle for Berlin

Berlin – Europe‘s place to be is once again attracting artists, culture lovers and trendsetters. During two exciting days the winners of the salespeople competition in the CLUB DER BESTEN experienced the uniqueness of the city on the Spree and the Havel. They also came very close to our German football heroes during the qualifier for the European Championships against Turkey. Afterwards, they celebrated the well deserved victory in the VIP lounge in the presence of the football legends. The next day they experienced the pulsating capital first hand. Here, they refreshed their historical knowledge and listened to interesting stories told by people who witnessed the event. The glass dome of the German Reichstag provided a spectacular view. This was followed by a somewhat different hop on/hop off-sightseeing tour along the banks of the Spree with Segways. This extraordinary incentive adventure ended with a culinary highlight in the en vogue restaurant Sage.

The capital, a cultural “melting pot” and currently a trend metropolis: In October 2010 the pulsating city of Berlin was the centre of the DKV Euro Service Sales Incentives. From 8th to 10th October, 17 of the most successful sales representatives from all over Europe explored the city´s most exciting places. The highlights both on land and on water were explored in the Trabbi cult car and on an elegant motor yacht. During a vaudeville show the winners came across curious characters, and as a perfect ending the participants enjoyed a spectacular view over the city from the Bundestag while having breakfast.

Matrix42 Village | Kick-Off 2010

An entire village for Matrix42 – "Pertisau", tucked away by the beautiful "Achensee", amongst the magnificent mountains of the “Karwendel”, is a symbol for reliability, unity and modesty. A place, which fosters old values and traditions and enriches city people with its tranquillity and unpretentiousness. While the brass band welcomed the guests, the mayor personally handed over the key to the village to the 132 employees of Matrix42, who spent three exciting and informative days in the town. A traditional alpine cabin evening, a dynamic Team-Snow-Challenge with outdoor barbeque and a gala evening with rocking live music were only a few highlights of this kick-off event. The conference on the last day presented an outlook on the years to come and so brought a positive ending to the very successful program.

North America close to you!

After the great success of the sales contest 2007 in the USA and Canada, the second contest also motivated the salesmen to reach peak performance. This time representatives from five European countries were faced with the demanding challenge. MARKENREISE developed a concept for the competition as well as organizing a trip which formed a bridge between Europe and America. The four European winners together with their families experienced a two week round trip enjoying many highlights of the USA and Canada. Not only were they provided with fantastic accommodation and taken to exclusive restaurants, but the nine participants enjoyed a bicycle tour along Lake Michigan, the fascinating Niagara Falls, whale watching on the St. Laurence River and a helicopter flight over New York City, to mention but a few of the unforgettable moments with "North America – close to you!"

DKV VIP Winter Experience Finland

Finland - In the "Land of a Thousand Lakes" the vastness is virtually endless. Deep blue shimmering waters and lush, green, unspoiled forests. In winter, this land in the far north transforms glittering snow and ice into a magical Scandinavian wonderland. A total of 45 selected guests enjoyed three exciting days in Lapland and were part of an adventurous journey of discovery, nearly 300km north of the Arctic Circle. In search of the magical Northern lights, they conquered the snowy plains and Finnish forests by snowmobile and demonstrated in the "icy" conditions, in various vehicles, their skills from the DKV Driving Expierence. Their visit to a traditional Finnish sauna provided not only exceptional service, but also exquisite relaxation.

CdB Final 2008: Canada - Get on Top

Together they celebrated this amazing finale and conquered the peaks of the Canadian mountains. This exciting programme offered varied perspectives on Vancouver and an action packed outdoor adventure in Whistler. Highlights of the trip included the exclusive hotels and restaurants, a biathlon race at the Olympic venue for 2010 and the adventurous snowmobile and husky-sled tours.

Under the motto "Discover the Secrets of Oman", they discovered the traditional capital of Muscat and experienced the fascinating highlights of this unique environment. The concept was to create encounters with the people and their culture, surprising the participants with exciting activities in a breathtaking landscape, and to provide a thoroughly relaxing and pleasurable experience with Samsung.

Pole Position

Barcelona - The capital of Catalonia and the host of one of Europe’s biggest sporting events in 2008: The German Touring Car Masters (DTM). This event is considered to be the pinnacle of the European Touring Car Championship. Under the motto "Pole Position", 30 semifinalists in the Mercedes-Benz sales competition 2008 traveled to Barcelona to be part of the action. After an exciting race at the Circuit de Catalunya the Mercedes-Benz salespeople had a chance to experience the most vibrant port city in the Mediterranean. During the three day trip the participants were presented with adventure, social activities and excellence befitting those with the status of VIP’s.

Europe – Close to You!

"ifm – close to you!" stands for a company whose employees all over the world are united by one thing: closeness to the company. As a result MARKENREISE created a travel and communication concept based not only on recognition and remuneration, but also, in accordance with the company slogan, on creating a bridge between America and Europe. Under the slogan "europe – close to you!" the winners were given an authentic view of several regions and cities, as well as an opportunity to familiarise themselves with four quite different European countries. The journey started in Essen, where the company headquarters are located, went through the Swiss Alps to the Spanish Andalusia and further to the Scottish mountains, before finishing in exciting Berlin. A lot of amazing events, such as a glacier landing and helicopter flight over the Matterhorn, a Sierra Nevada panorama from a hot air balloon, or the first tee shot at the world famous Saint Andrews golf course, will certainly never be forgotten by the participants of this fantastic program.

Zoom-Zoom! Driving Pleasure

The starting gun to begin the weekend brought a lot of pleasure and excitement to every winner at their own front door: Bags packed, refueled, get on the road to Salzburg! The city with it’s historical centre, "Mozartkugeln" chocolates and the wonderful mountain scenery, offered a perfect starting point for an exciting, unique and enjoyable journey. 88 employees of Mazda’s service team got to experience an unusual pleasure in driving through several outdoor competition exercises. Teams built up points by racing, and had a chance to show their skills during the digger duel competition! In the Hovercraft racing event, the teams who reached the target demonstrated their speed and precision. The competition finished at the "Hohensalzburg" fortress in Salzburg, an enduring symbol of the city, where the winning team celebrated like knights crowned by the king!

The Magic of the Orient

Salamaleikum – Welcome to Marrakesh. The pulsing metropolis exhibits all the diversity and contradictions of the Orient. From magnificent palaces and luxury gardens, to narrow lanes and bustling markets, contrast is never far away. "1001 nights" of magical stories accompanied the participants of the "Volvo Masters 2008" contest during all seven stages of their journey. Experiencing the gifts of the desert and stimulation of the senses provided additional motivation for those on the trip. Thanks to the "Magic of the Orient", 58 participants experienced the secrets of Morocco and faced the exciting and endless expanse of a new world. From the nervous heights of the Atlas mountain peaks to the calm shadows of the olive trees at their base, Morocco can not help but amaze you.

South Africa - The Grand Finale

Secrets of Sardinia

Sardinia is one of the most beautiful natural regions in Italy, especially attractive in spring. For the 54 winners of the sales competition "Volvo Masters 2007" the concept of the journey introduced Sardinia to its guests: The land, the people, the high cliffs, virginal coastline, seafood delicacies, traditions and customs. Each of the three days, 65 travelers approached the Secrets of Sardinia from a completely different perspective. A range of events aimed at communication and entertainment proved very popular with the masters of the Volvo sales team. At the same time the Volvo brand became an inspiration and guide during the three day tour.

The competition between the sales teams was held in several stages and unusual environments linking the local culture and the spirit of competition and providing a unique opportunity for a four day journey through time. Explore Yourself!

Turquoise, white, blue: These three colours formed the basis of an unusual sales competition. With an eight-step-mailing-campaign the participants were excited and motivated by the reward of a trip to the Maldives. The twenty most successful distributors became a part of a sixteen day tour under the slogan "Explore yourself!", creating an individual experience for every participant. During the trip, 50 travelers enjoyed an unforgettable experience. The impressions, meetings and beautiful landscapes met all communication aims and the Volvo brand was central in the minds of everyone present. Complete recreation promoted new discoveries in this Indian Ocean paradise.

The distributors contest promised not only a reward for the best distributors, but also an intensive impression of the Volvo brand. It would be hard to find a comparable city anywhere in the world, and New York provided an excellent backdrop for a brand experience with Volvo.
